My friend, Kristine, sent the most beautiful roses! We have also inherited our first vase. The flowers Randy got me had to go into the blender because we didn't have a vase so we had to improvise. 
Here is Finch trying to eat my beautiful flowers in their makeshift vase. She appreciates their taste more than their beauty.
